I'm just wondering why some Michigan fans on here are so insecure that they think that Tressel is gonna pack it in and Ohio State is just gonna start sucking because Michigan hired Rich Rodruigez.
I think it's a great hire and he'll bring the excitement and tradition back to Ann Arbor. At the same time, I don't look for any nose dive in recruiting and coaching from Ohio State.
Let's face it, we all know that Lloyd Carr's time was up and Michigan needed a jump start to return to greatness. RR will give them that but I don't think OSU's just gonna fade away because of it.

No. It's unrealistic to think OSU will just start blowing @ss on the football field just because Michigan hired a new coach. Hiding in that thinking is insecurity.

I'm sure Tressel will do what he always does and welcome all new coaches, and look at every new game as a challenge, whether its Michigan, USC, Texas, LSU, Florida, Oklahoma, etc , etc, etc,.................he just loves to coach, and change schemes, when he has to, and will approach each new situation, with great preparation, and a great game plan, as usual. After all, that's the fun of college football, all the new challenges, to overcome, and Tressel is one of the best, in the country at it.
