When asked if a coach should leave the SEC for the big ten he said

"Why would they do that? They love their football down south... the Big Ten likes basketball"

So we're a basketball conference now? Last time i checked we have some pretty passionate fans too Bob you *** hole.

Is that why his son chose Michigan??? C'mon Bob, say things because you mean em'...not just because it sounds good coming out of your pie hole!

I am sick and tired off all those assholes from the undefeated Miami Dolphins team from the 70's -- Griese included.

They are so paranoid about another team accomplishing what they were able to do. Hell, the Shula, Griese, Morris, team of that era did not compare with this years' New England Patriots team. I am not a Patriot's fan but I would like to see Belichick's team go undefeated this year so we never have to listen to all the **** about how great that Dolphins team was.

I hate Bob Giese!! He is an awful human being!

I could go the rest of my life without seeing those old guys from the undefeated dolphins team uncorking champaign when the last undefeated team finally loses.

They love their football down in the SEC so much partially because half those states don't have anything else to root for sports wise. Michigan is my main love, always has been but I am from Boston, so I also have the Patriots, Red Sox and Celtics. Go to Penn State, Michigan, Wisconsin and Ohio State, just to name a few and tell them they don't love football, please. It's easy to see why it seems the SEC is popular right now because almost all of those teams are just now getting used to winning in football.

Griese's a bumbling, sardonic bastard. When his foot's not in his mouth, his tongue's in his cheek. Which is it this time? Who the hell cares!

And the media continues patronizing the myth that only the south loves football passionately.

FYI: Bob Griese started at Purdue for 3 seasons.

1966 Purdue-22 Michigan-21

1965 Purdue-17 Michigan-15

1964 Purdue-21 Michigan-20

The 1964 Michigan team went 9-1, finished ranked 4th.

Brian Griese was a recruited walk-on who was soon given a scholarship.
