I just got my 2008 Ford Escape four weeks ago and love it. Easy to drive, park, turn. And it has a lot of cargo space. And best of all I got a great deal. After all my rebates, I got it for like $18,000. It may cost you a little more as I do get the extra rebates (military rebate and 50% off military discount on undercoating and paint protection package). I highly recommend them.

There is more American parts on the Honda Accord coming out of Marysville, Oh then there is on the stuff coming out of Detroit. Plus they hold their value longer and run much much longer without as many problems. Im not saying that because I work for Honda - its the truth. I would take a Honda, Acura, Lexus, Toyota, Nissan, Infinity or Scion over anything GM produces (except for the Vette). Once you get used to the foreign car reliablity its impossible to go back. Sorry American car builders.

If I buy Honda, I'm supporting the 100's of Ohioans that work in the plant less then an hour from me.

Buy the Honda Pilot. It is big and safe, the engine is a DREAM, and the post 2004 have impoved the transmission problems. It is the cheaper version of the Acura MDX which is the top of the line in SUV.

I will go with you to buy used Honda because I have a huge crush on you. You knew this, didn't you? Come with me to buy Honda. You will have the salesman eating out of the palm of your hand, particularly if you get up in LSU gear with the denim mini..........ooooooooh, sweet!

But seriously, you cannot go wrong with Honda Pilot. You could potentially go wrong with the others on your list.

I'm an American. I don't buy foreign. I drive 850 miles per week and the only vehicle that ever stranded me on the side of the road was foreign. It was obtained through marriage and I gave it a chance. Luckily it was only a 3 mile walk home and wasn't too cold out. Buy something American that will help the American economy and get people back to work in Michigan. American people make and design great cars and no I don't work in the auto industry. I just happen to think the American people can build cars as good as anybody in the world. The high miles I drive without being stranded are proof of that. I really have to have a good vehicle.

Wow, what a bunch of pussys on this site. A guy puts this post up he'd be crucified, but it's apparently a female Buckeye and you all drool. Maybe your chivalry will get you laid. PATHETIC!!!

I happen to be married to a female buckeye but unlike most buckeyes she does not hate michigan. I'll admit I have a harder time rooting for Ohio State than she does Michigan. It probably has everything to do with all the losses in the series lately.

There's something to be said for a woman with great gag reflexes........no matter what colors she sports!

My grandfather retired with GM & up until I actually started driving they changed the rules about discounts to grandchildren. My father gets one hell of a deal, but not me! Foriegn or American.........they've all broke down on me at some point. I just want better gas milage then a huge SUV & something that doesn't yell "Hey!! It's a mom with 10 thousand screaming kids!!" And considering Honda does contribute to Ohio workers, I don't have a problem buying Honda. It's going to come down to what is going to be in my price range & the miles on the car when I'm ready to buy. You guys are the best!!
