It is a bit bitter sweet but when u have been through as much as a Browns fan has u learn not to give a Sh*t where they are from as long as they produce. Hes a hell of a player.

Holy crap! That's an unbelievably unbiased honest post. That's all I'm asking. Post an objectively. There's too much biased provocation all the time! Props dude!

Hey Toad, if you read most of my posts, I think you'd find that I'm pretty unbiased. I love the browns, and I've never had a problem with any player no matter where they come from if they're wearing the brown and orange and produce.

Edwards is an elite receiver and an All-Pro.

Uh, that's just silly. Sure everyone has drops, but Braylon does almost every week. When the drops become rare, as opposed to regular, then he will be "elite".

Is TO considered an "elite" WR?

Last time I checked, TO consistently ranks among the leaders in dropped passes. He is notorious for having bad hands.

So no, not really "silly" at all.

As a Lions fan, one of my favorite all time players was Spielman. I didn't care that he was from OSU, he wore the Lions uniform, and I really enjoyed his pro career regardless of where he played college ball.

Saw him last night at the Cavs vs Lakers game. He was sitting 3 seats away from Phil Jackson on the floor. He got a huge ovation when the camera guy put him on the scoreboard.

I'm glad for Braylon and I'm happy for the Browns!

My intial post was not to slam Braylon. He has been outstanding this year. All I was saying that there has been some dropped passes this year where he was looking to make something happen before he had control of the ball. Some of those could of been TD's or long gains which would of made his numbers look incredible. Trust me, I have had seats since 99 and this is the most fun I have had since Bernie was slinging the ball to Slaughter. Its amazing what an offensive line can do. Wait untill Savage fixes the defense in the off season.

My response wasn't directed at you - it was directed at Chris, I mean shirc...whatever...

Apparently Edwards can't be an elite WR because he drops the ball too much, but other receivers who do the same or drop more passes can.

Anybody that has seen him play this year or watch him run after the catch (YAC) cannot look you you in the eye and say he is not becoming elite. He does not have the greatest speed but inside the 20 his vertical leap and body control are incredible.

Well I don't go checking the "dropped passes" stats. I watch the browns every week. I used to watch Jerry Rice a helluva lot. Jerry Rice = Elite. Braylon Edwards = Up and Coming.

I agree with you nut. I am a huge Browns fan and braylon is having a h.ell of a season, but he does drop a few to many. And the thing that confuses me is all the sick one handers and amazing ones he catches, the ones he drop hit him right in the chest. I am not taking anything away from braylon or the Browns and i am so pumped for the playoffs. Clev wins or tenn loses they are in.

I like Edwards and I'm a giant Browns fan - but I will never get myself to buy an Edwards jersey. How weird is it seeing Braylon doing the O-H-I-O cheer.

Well I don't go checking the "dropped passes" stats.

Yeah, that's why you make generalized comments about topics where you are usually proven wrong.
