It is with a heavy heart that I leave the ranks of Michigan faithful. RR is a snake who recruits the worst character players. Today is a day that makes me sick to be a Michigan Man. How can Les Miles be of worse character than this snake? Michigan football as I have known it is now dead. I am officially pledging my allegience to Indiana University. I just ordered season tickets. I am starting the new chant now --- Hail to the Convicts, Rapists, Thugs, and Drug Dealers, Hail to Jackson State Penitentary's Best. Hail to the Convicts, Rapists, Thugs, and Drug Dealers, Hail Hail to Jackson State Penitentary's Best.

If your talking about Pac Man and Henry neither got into trouble until after they went pro. Also, I guess you should be mad that Carr tried extremely hard in getting Maurice Clarett to Ann Arbor too. Not to mention the wife beaters, masturbators, etc.. that have all come out of the wood work just this past season. Calling RR a snake is pretty cheap in my opinion.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out. Oh yeah, a Michigan Man would never get in trouble. An Oline coach would never get arrested for DD or anything like that! Or a Michigan Man thats a head coach would never get wasted while out to dinner and make an arse out of himself and the whole program. No never! Not a MICHIGAN MAN. I'm so sick of hearing that stupid michigan man crap. See Ya pal.

If you're so ready to leave the Michigan faithful you probably weren't ever one of us to begin with.

Yeah, I have strong opinion on who I want to lead the team and how it should be done but I'm not about to give up my fandom over it. I live and die with Michigan, regardless of who is at the helm. If that man proves to be inadaquate, I still support Blue while making my voice known. RR deserves a chance, regardless of how we feel about him, and I am willing to give him one.

Good Riddance!! Look into the Citadel. It's a very conservative school with an honor court. You can enjoy all of their losing while imagining them as holy knights of the Templar!!

Within three years Michigan will be in the news for another loss, that will be scholarships lost due to NCAA violations. This guy is a joke. And you people are rejoicing this as a good hire. You make me sick.

Good I hope all the "fans" like you leave. This isn't the NFL wear everyone cheers for the best team, you should have one school and that's it. Don't even talk about a Michigan Man because you obviously aren't one. You are the ultimate hippocrit for saying he isn't a Michigan man while simultaneosly turning your back on the school.

Get lost you *** hole

All right,

Everyone needs to calm down. I guess were looking at the lesser of evils here. Did RR recruit some questionable characters at WVU, yes. Did Tressel recruit some questionable characters at OSU (I would say the whole team should have a background check..), yes. Every college coach will get some dirt bags, the point is did you as a coach KNOWINGLY and WILINGLY let guys get away with sh!t they were not suppose to. Be thankful we did not get Kelly. With Carr on staff or as the next AD, RR will have someone looking over his shoulder. So I would not throw stones at a guy before we have seen what he's doing with our football program. Remember were Michigan too, not WVU. We will get solid hard working honest players (look at ND they blow this year and will recruit great players this year). As stated before I really do not think our problems have stemed from lack of talented players but more so from a lack of a talented coach.

Oh dear lord, every major college in America has had it's share of bad characters in their programs. It's something that NO coach or school can totally avoid.
RR is a great hire for Michigan. The future looks very bright for Michigan football.

If it never happened at WVU, which he had to build up from the ground, why would he stand to do so with an established program?

Only a fairweather fan would leave now over this. Congratulations on your new villification, you're probably right up there with 1OSUNUT now.

I have been a Miles man for a long time. He was my position coach at the football camps I attended as a kid. I was still holding out for him. If we couldn't get him, I was looking at Richt at Georgia. He is a class act who runs an impeccable program. I know too much s h i t about r. rod that will not fly here. There are a couple of his former players that he recruited who are in jail for murder. He will embarrass this program.

First of all don't presume that you know anything about me. I have been on here a lot longer than you have. I have given more to this University than you will ever know. I am not the only one who feels this way and Michigan will have to face consequences from this. This is a sad day but on principle I can't keep giving to a school that keeps taking, taking, taking. I wish them the best but the mighty has fallen. I honestly don't think I can look at Michigan the same way ever again. Just me. Villify me all you want but I can take it with my head held high.

This is the greatest day for Michigan in a long time!! Why were you even on this board? We now have my antithesis. I'm happy you could get off on the fact that I enjoy home cooked meals and John Wayne movies, but most people want innovation and to win! I suggest you watch my wholesome performance in the 2007 Michigan vs. Ohio State game over and over as it is a testament to my legacy!

Well, you can thank Miles for having a part in this hire then. To tell you the truth I couldn't care less if he recruits a few dirtballs and scumbags. Whatever it takes to get the job done in this day and age. I have an idea, maybe you would prefer if he went out and slandered other coaches and stole recruits to avoid hiring some of the dirtballs like your but buddy. Miles cares about money and falling *** backwards into championships. I think after all the criticism (guilty as charged) Bill Martin made the right decision in hiring a coach that pioneered exactly what the entire Big Ten needs. Maybe this will force the whole conference to update their offense. Good luck ruiting for Indiana.

and RR doesn't... he wouldn't have left home and family and friends like he said he did on espn.

Finally, Motown has turned on his own. Where was all this criticism of Motown last week when he was running down every aspect of the SEC? I was nearly a lone warrior in that fight, telling you he was an arrogant and pompous a$$. Motown's such a Michigan Man that no one measures up to his high laurels. Despite being his normal arrogant self, I've gained at least a little respect for him in sticking with his guns.

GO INDIANA, you got yourself one hell of a fan....as long as you don't piss him off and you let him OK every recruit.

Why are you not turning to LSU then if you're a Miles fan? I don't think I want you rooting for any Big 10 teams if you're going to toss your team aside because of the new hire. Good Lord. What country's flag do you have waving in your front yard? Greenland's???

I agree!!! He was all Michigan this and Michigan that and now he's turning his back on them?!?! Rich Rod was a great hire and to say he will turn Michigan into a dump, he's lost all of his marbles arguing with gator!!! Motown, do you understand that Michigan will have Lloyd Carr and Bill Martin looking over him so he doesn't pull in the Chris Henry's....Believe me, living in Cincinnati I know all about Chris Henry! If the reports are true about Les Miles taking stabs at Lloyd Carr and his Parkinson's disease to get recruits at LSU, they can keep that guy because I wouldn't want him coaching the Wolverines! I WILL ADMIT IT, I WANTED LES MILES FIRST AND FOREMOST, BRIAN KELLY WAS MY SECOND CHOICE! But if it's true that Les did that to Lloyd (according to the recruits involved that it was), that is just morally wrong. Kelly wasn't even really considered so there went that. I never thought Michigan would have a chance to get Rich Rod, but he was DEFINITELY in my TOP 3!! Now that he is Michigan's Head Coach, I'm really excited!! The Spread coming to Ann Arbor He brings a new look to the Wolverines that alot of people have been waiting for...Les Miles DEFINITELY isn't the offensive minded coach that Rich Rod is, No more VANILLA run, run, pass, punt OFFENSE IT'S GREAT, TO BE, A MICHIGAN WOLVERINE!!!
