Rivals.com Top 100 shows 75 players verbally committed.

OSU and ND appear to be cleaning up.

I'm big on recruiting stuff, so let me chime in.

OSU is doing well, they've definately filled what they needed and thats all that really matters. 3 of the top 5 lineman in the country all going to one school? wow! If OSU gets Pryor, that would be redonkulous (that means good, for you old people)

ND will still suck, these frosh wont change sh*t. Fat bastard can't manage a team and burned bridges with the Clausen Golden Boy situation.

Georgia and Florida have some studs coming in IMO that should keep them on top...

UM fans shouldn't be down, they have quality players coming in. Especially McGuffie, I think he was overlooked and is going to be a quality back if he learns to block. I guess Koger is going to play DE in college and you guys got another excellent CB coming in. His only downside is he's 5'8'' tall, but who knows. That frosh UM has now is pretty damn good as well.

I wouldn't get your hopes up too much. It would require a lot of kids changing their minds from "in state" to "move to michigan and its freezing f*cking cold up there and far away from my mammy's house", just my 2 cents.

It's an interesting possibility though. IF 1 or 2 to follow him...thats got to be a bonus

well if you read correctly 3 of those are soft verbals, so who knows and QB 11 Darron Thomas looks like he could be a spread option qb

Michigan will steal and lose a recruit or two due to coaching changes... its natural both ways.

IF you read the list carefully....check out the first names on some of these guys!!

Cordian
Rocky
Chancey Aghayere
Karnell
Darron
DeAngelo
Jhyryn

Sound like Pre-med students to me!!!

Atleast with Miles, you guys can switch things up a bit on offense and show some different looks. Give you guys something to shake your keys at

I think we'll get 3-4 players following Miles.

I would guess we'll have a very good shot at QB Darron Thomas given he just pulled his verbal from LSU (because they signed 2 other QB's).

Thomas Parsons could be a possibility as well.

Someone mentioned weather? Real football players don't give a crap what the weather is like. If they do, they're probably not right for Michigan anyway. We don't want pansies who need to be down south where it's warm.

Pryor is the BIG one for Ohio State. If he puts a OSU hat (like he is expected to) on during the Army game that will give the Buckeyes the #1 class in the nation with offensive linemen and a QB that could lead us to a number of championships.

how do u figure if pryor goes to the suckeyes that will give them the #1 class, considering they are i believe 9th on rivals and 12th on scout

CARR MUST GO NOW

That is a point system. Our "avg. star per player" would jump to the highest in the nation. I think right now were in second in that category.

The 9th figure is skewed b/c of the points. ND has 22 recruits, therefore, they have more points. Osu has 14 or so recruits, so they have fewer overall points.

It will be hard for the trolls to pretend that losing Pryor isn't significant after posts like these...

Everything I have heard is that Pryor isn't leaning toward Ohio State. He doesn't care to much for the system they run. But if he is wanting to play basketball also Ohio State would be a good place to go.

Perhaps Beilen should get involved in the process and see if Pryor can play basketball at Michigan, too.

I would like to have him at OSU honestly, but I don't get the guy. If he wants to be an NFL QB, it seems to me that RR's offense would be a terrible system to be involved in. It doesn't translate to the NFL. I think Script mentioned it earlier, look at Vick and Young. These kind of QB's that don't have experience reading defenses and making passes don't succeed at the next level. If Pryor wants to get exposure, win a Heisman and be an NFL receiver he should go to Um. Seems like the Tressel system would be a little better for QB's with NFL aspirations. I'm not spewing sour grapes here. Does anyone disagree?

Vick, #1 Overall Pick. Young, 3rd Overall Pick. Hmmm...seems like those types of QBs get picked pretty high in the draft, despite the notion that "these kind of QB's that don't have experience reading defenses and making passes don't succeed at the next level."

Fellas, no matter what school Pryor plays for, he's gonna play the same style. That's what makes him so dangerous.

Aside from the fact that Vick's in jail now...both of these guys are franchise players and are multi-millionaires.

I think that's why Pryor needs a coach who will run a system that makes him shine. Nobody's done it better than Rodgriguez these past few years. That's why Pryor immediately stuck Michigan on his list when RichRod was hired.

Seems like the Tressel system would be a little better for QB's with NFL aspirations.

Dude, are you kidding...UofM is quarterback "U"! Michigan has had 7 QB's start in the NFL since 94'. Coupled with Rod there running an offense that would feature Pryor...well...I can only quote from a Simon & Garfunkel song and say..."Michigan seems like a dream to me now."

How could you possibly contend that Tressel's system would be better for QB's???

Toad

I agree! Does OSU have a QB in the NFL besides 3rd String Heisman Trophy Winner Troy Smith??? Come On SB, OSU might have beat Michigan the last couple years but don't put QB's into the mix...Troy Smith is the best QB OSU has had in 20 years and he's 3rd string behind 95 year old Steve McNair and Kyle 'I should have been a' Boller!! Tressel has a great system at OSU but different not better than producing NFL QB's!!! Face It, every OSU fan was HIGH on Pryor and when he added Michigan to his list and is really leaning towards UM, everyone turned on him. He could be a flop, blah blah blah...Your thoughts change like the weather, especially when the weather isn't going your way!!! Michigan is a better NFL QB school, Period!! Proof is in the pudding, go to NFL rosters and see how many Michigan QB's and OSU QB's there are and it's a proven fact!!!

I haven't looked this up...but if memory serves, there hasn't been a Michigan QB go un-drafted since the 80's.

If OSU doesn't sign Pryor I would be the 1st to admit that it would be disheartening. OSU doesn't have a "reload" scenario in terms of the QB position...

If UM gets Pryor, well, that would be absolutely amazing for UM. What would become of Mallett though? Here we have some interesting agency problems that would arise. 2 "heir to the throne" QB's on a team can create big time problems, but hey, at the end of the day you've got 2 quality guys. A lot of teams would love that problem.

If Pryor has NFL aspirations, why go to OSU? Let me know when the 1st Tressel QB starts for an NFL team.

Which is saying what exactly?

McNair is a hasbeen and Boller a never was. If I replaced Smith, I would be the best QB on that roster.

How many WVU QB's are in the NFL?????

How many Oregon QB's are in the NFL????? Joey Harrington...Gimme a break. Dennis Dixon, soon to be, all 167lbs of him. Watch him take one hit from Urlacher and wind up in a coma...a coma with atleast a 24 million dollar gauranteed contract

UM has the pedigree advantage in this conversation, however, I think playing for Tressel would be an advantage as well. He's done more with less

Examples: Craig Krenzel?? Todd Boeckman?? Troy Smith??(an athlete recruit who was projected to return kicks turns into a Heisman winner)

they may not be the next big thing in the NFL, but all of those kids successes can be linked to the phrase, "do more with less"

Yeah - I noticed he was QB against Miami in their first win of the season...

I guess I was referring to a QB who wins the starting job, not just thrown in out of desperation. If Smith is the QB for Baltimore in September, then you can claim he is a starter.

Yeah to bad he cannot play DB. He was not the one who gave up a 68 yard TD in OT. He was the reason they got into overtime to begin with.
