Wings are beating the Ducks big time. The Ducks are thugging it up as they get their butts handed to them. Every team the Wings have played in the playoffs have thugged it up when getting hammered.

Great game by Dom it seems. And that thug Niedermeyer should be suspended for his hit on Holmstrom.

Edit: Make it that thug Pronger, and he did get suspended for a game. This could be great for us!!!

The Wings are toast! No way this series comes back to Detroit. Not after that Ohio State-like choke job.

Don't throw in the towel yet, buddy. this is the same script as 2002, when Detroit was down 3-2 going into Colorado & advanced.

It is frustrating to thoroughly dominate almost the entire game, and then have 2 boneheaded lapses in failing to clear the puck ruin it.

Terribly frustrating, that game ended in the worst possible way: giving up a game-tying goal with 17 secs left, and then that idiot Lilja's blunder that cost us the game. Notice how he didn't even realise that he had lost the puck? Freakin Hockey 101, no matter how good a stickhandler you are, look at the puck every once in a while to make sure its there, especially in front of your own net!!!!!

Hopefully they can recover mentally for what will be probably their toughest road game this season.

First I'll respond as if I were a Tosu fan:

"Sure, it would have been great to win the Cup, but we were happy to have played in the conference finals. Besides, we beat the Columbus Blue Jackets a bunch of times, and those a**holes weren't even in the playoffs. Great season. Mike Babcock, I think you are Jesus."

Real response:

"Ugggghhhhhh....I'm pissed we didn't win, we had the talent...damn it. Ducks? What kind of lame mascot is that?"

Seriously though tMM, did you see the 3rd period? It was surreal, the way the Wings played. Where the hell was that for the rest of the game??? And what is with Hasek and his idiotic ice angels, he gave up 3 goals in that position.

weird series. that stupid last second tie then OT loss the other night and then this game...

Very dissapointing because the Wings could have and should have won this round. Gratz to the Ducks.
