Man. So we've seen 118th (Sten), 58th (Egami) and 72nd from Cinco. All these numbers have proven is that they can't be proven.

Exactly, it's largely subjective. But regardless of which numbers you go by you can't argue their schedule has been hard. That's about the only fact you can establish from the aggregate numbers.

Besides, as a Michigan fan, it's my job to make Ohio look as good as possible so when we take them out behind the shack in Ann Arbor we look better.

hahahaahahahahahaaha....

right now ohio is the best team in the nation... period...

looking at that report that cinco gave us osu will play a tougher schedule with teams that have accumulative 3 more wins than the #1 team... which brings me back to my point there not there yet but they are sure making a good statement now

It's going to be real interesting to see where all this is at in three weeks for sure...it's still early despite being basically on the downhill slope.

W & L's - that is what the NCAA site measures. The teams that OSU has been beating have been also getting beat by other teams, which renders an undefeated record against a lot of losing teams less than impressive.

I'm talking about what teams have actually done, not what they are going to do.

That sounds about right. Somewhere between yours and Egami's sounds about right. 118th is a little out there.

look at the teams osu has yet to face they have combined 38 wins.... so the strength of schedule up to this point may be low but the schedule will be a lot harder for osu in weeks to come... the #1 schedule is north carolina where teams on there complete schedule only have 35 wins so overall who plays better teams this season?

I picked my number because it was the best case scenario that I've seen statistically of all the SoS ratings to make a point.

The main point being that they are all subjective numbers and really the upcoming schedule will be most telling for Ohio.

Their overall SoS ranking will change and by the time it's over I expect them to be about 4 on 1 to 10 scale with 10 being the hardest SoS.

How can you give OSU credit for having a tough schedule that is yet to be played?

Are you saying their #1 ranking is based upon what they are going to do?

That makes sense in the preseason, but in the 8th week of the season, what you did is more important than what you potentially may do.

They haven't lost....that's what they have been doing. Only 4 other teams can say that & LSU isn't one of them. That is why OSU, SF & BC are where they are.

I think that's a stretch to imply he means their #1 ranking is based on yet to be determined performance. He's simply saying their schedule peaks at the end and overall ranking is going to be better overall than what is shown now.

Dude - enough with the big words already. Use mono-syllabic words in the future. Remember who is reading this. And spell everything out - don't assume comprehension of basic sports principles.

Yes. We have heard you! Clearly you dont get what we have all been saying about OSU. Does anybody else think this is getting old and repetitive?

Here's one for ya...

"What Jefferson was saying was, Hey! You know, we left this England place 'cause it was bogus; so if we don't get some cool rules ourselves - pronto - we'll just be bogus too! Get it?"
