"Bud Light presents Real Men of Genius" (Reaaaaal Men Of Genius) Today we salute you, Mr. Delusional Michigan Fan (Mr. Delusional Michigan Faaaaaan!)

Season after season, year after year, you try to justify your
absurdly high preseason ranking (clutching at straws!)

Season after season, year after year, you scramble to make futile
attempts at damage control when the Wolverines lose to a grossly
inferior opponent (How'd Northwestern score fifty fouuuuuur?)

Inevitably, you'll bring up the past, and boast of National
Championships
won 40 years before you were born (those were the daaaaaays!)

You will point out that you have more wins than any other program as
though
that is relevant to the current season (been playing since the
1870s!)

Go on, ignore that home loss to your arch rivals in the regular
season finale and continue to believe that you'll defeat your bowl
opponent with striking ease (we'll win by thirteeeeeeey!)

So crack open an ice cold Bud Light, oh Emperor of Excuses, and take
comfort knowing that when you don't finish in the top 25, you'll be
back to number three when the preseason polls come out next year
(Mr.Delusional Michigan Fan!)"

My, how arrogant you've become in only 5 short years. When the situation turns (and historically, it always does), hopefully your arrogance will disappear just as quickly.

Now I know why I enjoy Bud Light so much.

Now I know why I enjoy LaBatt Blue so much

October 2, 2003, OSU at Northwestern L, 33-27 - whoops! Looks like you lost to Northwestern, too...

Inevitably, you'll bring up the past, and boast of National
Championships won 40 years before you were born (those were the daaaaaays!)

The 1997 National Championship didn't happen 40 years before we were born, that would mean we were born no earlier than 2037. (OSU curriculum - need to work on the math a little)

You will point out that you have more wins than any other program as

Don't hate Michigan for being visionary and playing America's favorite sport decades in advance of most schools. Nice to see everyone else finally caught on.

That wasn't a true National Championship and you never would have won outright.

Shared national championships are common, and legitimate, douche bag.

Whats wrong are you mad?

Whats more common is college football players being able to get laid and not having to jerk off on girls porches.

Sure, but that's not as bad as having someone stick a gun in your face and rob you of your cell phone.

Thing is that happened after he was no longer a Buckeye and the University would not reenroll him no matter how much he pleaded. Fact remains either Michigan players just can't get laid which is pathetic or your women are just that ugly. Either way you're miserable because you're posting on a web site created to complain about your program and it's coach. I'm just here to stop by laugh and keep moving.

You keep referring to the Larry Harrison "porch masturbation" incident, even though after the incident, Carr put him on a bus out of Ann Arbor, never to play for Michigan again. This was a month before the 2005 Rose Bowl, and Michigan could have used one of their best defensive players in a game they lost by 1 point to Texas. Harrison could have made a big difference. That is Carr, putting the integrity of the program above winning

Contrast this with Santana Holmes and Troy Smith, who were arrested for disorderly conduct for destroying property and breaking a woman's jaw. The next week, Holmes was playing again, and Smith would have if he were needed (he was dressed). That is classic Tressel, win at all costs, nevermind the thuggery. Your program lacks integrity. You have sold your souls to win, enjoy.

My, my must be another OSU bandwagoner. Since you have a short memory let me explain to you. Before the BCS began in 1998, it was quite common to have split championships due to the fact that both the AP and Coaches polls voted for a champion along with many others but these were the 2 recognizable major polls. Going into the bowl games in 1997 we were #1 in both bowls, Nebraska's coach Osborne declared he would retire and suddenly his fellow coaches felt sorry for him and voted for his team.

Just to give you a further history lesson there have been 18 split championships in NCAA football history. Michigan has had 3 of them and OSU 2.

To continue with that thought...I've heard a lot this "and you never would have won outright" crap. Nobody knows whether or not Michigan or Nebraska would have prevailed in a head to head meeting in 1997. To say such things is academic, and down right idiotic. The only thing that I know for sure is that it would have been a great college football game, and I was disappointed that we didn't get to play eachother.

OSU fans (with the except of OSUSTEVE as he's turned over a new leaf and is actually praising Carr's recruiting abilities) have this idea that because YOU say that we'd never have won the '97 Nat'l Champ. outright, that we wouldn't have.

I seem to remember Michigan playing the nation's hardest schedule, whipping everyone, including your beloved Bucks, winning the the Rose Bowl, Woodson won the Heisman, and Carr won the Coach of the Year. It just sounds like sour grapes when you say shit like that. Michigan would never take away anything from your brilliant run in '02. Show a little grace for god's sake.

Go Blue!

If you'll recall, Sten, that following the bowl games, Nebraska's quarterback and coach whined incessantly about how they felt they would get a raw deal if Michigan was voted national champions. In the coaches poll, which selected Nebraska, many coaches voted Michigan as low as #6, even though they were undefeated, an obvious classless sandbagging attempt by other Big-12 schools to unfairly give Nebraska the share.

Any coach who voted Michigan any lower than #2 in 1997 should have had their voting credentials permanently revoked.

For the record I never said that the 1997 Wolverines were not a very good football team. But it was a shared national champioship. It was a case where the 2 top teams did not get a chance to play each other so nobody knows. I do think however that Michigan would of had trouble with the option that Nebraska ran back then. Every team from the east does because we never get a chance to see it run like Nebraska used to run it. There offensive line was huge. Now before all of you start going nuts and calling my mother names I did not say Michigan could not beat them I just said they might of had trouble beating them.
